What Is Atkins Diet?

This diet was developed by cardiologist Dr. Robert Atkins. He became interested in low-carbohydrate diets after reading the 1972 book “Dr. Atkins Diet Revolution.

“In the first phase, you eat very few carbs and gradually increase your calorie intake until you reach your ideal weight.
