Ingredients

  • Three Frosted Buttermilk Biscakes
  • 2 tbsp. bouillon
  • 1 c. of full fat milk
  • 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour.
  • Poultry seasoning, 1 1/2 tbsp.
  • 1 medium-sized onion
  • Carrots in matchstick form: 1 c.
  • 3 tablespoons of melted butter
  • Rotisserie chicken shredded into 2 cups
  • Green beans, cut into 14-inch pieces, frozen
  • 2 tbsp. fresh flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped
  • Serve-yourself biscuits

Directions

Follow the package directions to make four frozen buttermilk biscuits.

Chicken stock, whole milk, flour and poultry seasoning are mixed in a large mason jar. In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, cook onion and carrots in butter until softened, 2 to 3 minutes.

Stir in the milk mixture very slowly while continuing to whisk. Stir frequently as the mixture boils and simmers for 6 to 8 minutes until it thickens.

Serve with green beans and flat-leaf parsley and chicken shreds from the rotisserie. Salt and pepper to taste with kosher salt. Biscuits may serve as a garnish.
