Simple Syrup with Jalapenos:
Ingredient
Sugar, 1 c.
minced jalapenos 2 jalapenos, finely chopped
Julep’s ingredients are as follows:
a sprig of mint for garnish, as well as four fresh mint leaves
jalapeno simple syrup (around 1 ounce)
The Crumby Ice
whiskey (about 2 1/2 oz.)

Instructions
Make simple syrup by combining the following ingredients:
1 cup water, sugar, and jalapeno mix in a small saucepan over high heat until the sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly to ensure that the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from the heat and set aside for 20 minutes to steep.
Also, remove the jalapenos from the syrup and set it aside to cool. (You can store simple syrup in the refrigerator for up to 6 months in an airtight container).
Preparation: Pour Jalapeno Simple Syrup into a julep cup and add mint leaves. Now, carefully bruising the leaves with a muddler or wooden spoon until the syrup is well-combine. Pour in enough crushed ice to fill the cup by two-thirds of the way, then stir well.
Gentle whisky is added, follow a bit more crushed ice to finish the drink off. A splash of club soda should add at the end to finish it. IN addition Decorate with a mint leaf and jalapeno slices for extra flavor and crunch!
