- 1 cup roughly chopped mint leaves (pudina)
- 2 cups roughly chopped coriander (dhania)
- 4 green chilies, roughly chopped
- 1/2 tsp chopped ginger (adrak)
- salt to taste
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 4 clove garlic
Take the mint, coriander, chilies, garlic, ginger, lemon juice, place in a mixer and whip, till the required consistency has been formed. I prefer to keep malt on a finer side, but if you prefer a textural, chunky chutney, you may stop pounding the components much early. Serve immediately or refrigerate till use.
Add more quantity of coriander leaves with respect to mint leaves for good taste. As more quantity of leaves makes the chutney bitter in taste.
