We used to wash our hair every day, every time. If you have bright colors in your hair, such as purple, blue, or green, we should only wash it minimum days and use a DIY dry shampoo recipe on the days you don’t wash it. There are several dry shampoos that work well if you are a do-it-yourselfer.

Spray dry shampoo on your roots to use it. We don’t require much. We only need to spray for a few seconds. If one have long or thick hair, we may need to section it to get to the roots.

Then, with your fingers, massage the products into your scalp and roots. Lastly, comb it out. Any white residue should be removed by combing.

Use Shampoo According To Hair

Shampoos containing sulfates will strip the color from your hair, so it’s critical to use a sulfate-free shampoo. Kerastase Reflection Chroma shampoo is one of the best shampoos for bright colors. It’s pricey, but it can help keep that color for a longer period of time.

Renpure Argon Oil Luxurious Shampoo and Conditioner is a less expensive alternative, but it does not perform as well as the Kerastase shampoo. We should not use any clarifying shampoo as these shampoos lighten or remove the color from hair.

Should Use Cold Water For Wash

Wash The Scalps And Roots

The scalp is usually the only part of your hair that needs to be a wash. It can simply wash the roots of the hair to keep the color on the ends of your hair from fading.  Purple is at the back of the head underneath, so careful to only wash the roots and thoroughly rinse them away.
