Uranus Opposition Chiron, Era Wounded Healer: If a person were born between 1950 and 1989, Chiron is opposite Uranus.
Uranus Opposition Chiron, Era Wounded Healer
Transit
Chiron opposing Uranus is a lengthy transit. Consider this: a normal transit (like Sun square Venus) lasts only a few days. Transits involving slower-moving planets (Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto) can last up to a few years.
But a 40-year transit is rare. In fact, we’ve only had two such long transits in our lifetime: Neptune sextile Pluto and Chiron opposite Uranus.
These long transits are only possible when two planets with eccentric/elliptical orbits are involved.
That’s why Chiron (eccentric orbit) and Pluto (eccentric orbit) can only have long generational aspects. That’s why long transits are rare – and why they’re the most significant in a century.
Generational transits are unusually long transits that affect whole generations. Our generation is the “Wounded Healer” or “Chiron opposite Uranus” generation.
Even if you were born before 1950 or after 1989, most people you meet are from the “Chiron vs. Uranus” generation, which indirectly affects you.
Importance Of Chiron
Chiron was opposite Uranus for a long time, which explains why Chiron is so vital in our lives. As you may know, Chiron orbits between Saturn and Uranus.
Acting as a “bridge” between the known world (represented by Saturn) and the unknown (represented by Uranus) (Uranus, the first transpersonal planet).
Looking up into the sky, you can see all the way to Saturn. but not Pluto, Neptune, or Uranus, which are ‘invisible’. Those three were discovered before Chiron.
The discovery of Uranus occurred during the French and American Revolutions, as well as the Age of Enlightenment.
In the midst of the Romantic and Industrial eras, the steam engine, chemistry, and the sail trades were developed. In the Americas and Africa, entire cultures and religious systems vanished.
Pluto was discovered at the same time as the atomic bomb, totalitarian regimes, and psychoanalysis.
Our society has changed more dramatically since Uranus was discovered in 1781 than in thousands of years of evolution. This is the transpersonal planets’ power. And this is the power Chiron unlocks.
Transpersonal Planets
Before 1977, our mind couldn’t tune into the outer planets’ frequency, so we felt their influence as “fate,” something that happened to us.
We needed a ‘tool’ to better integrate the transpersonal planets’ powerful energy. And it’s Chiron.
When Chiron was discovered, the mind-body connection (yoga, meditation, reiki) was gaining popularity and profoundly changing our consciousness.
In Greek mythology, Chiron was an astrologer, and astrology is the missing link between nature/science and planets/universe.
In other words, Chiron helps you see what would otherwise be invisible and experienced as “fate”. Chiron “works” in three stages. These three stages are the Wounded Healer, Shaman, and Alchemist.
Chiron – The Shaman, The Alchemist
Chiron is the Wounded Healer because escaping Saturn’s material constraints is not easy. But the “Chiron vs. Uranus” generation is called to it.
If one were born between 1950 and 1989, you are a Wounded Healer, destined to transcend Saturn, or what our ancestors called “reality”.
It’s no surprise that Chiron is the Shaman. Thus, Chiron bridges the three worlds.
When our ancestors rejected what they called “Hell,” they rejected nature, and thus half of reality. The Shaman is here to connect nature and the divine.
Chiron transits help you unite these seemingly disparate parts of yourself.
Chiron is the Alchemist because he can merge the man and the horse, nature and the divine, matter and spirit – and create something greater.
Because of this, our generation needs to work with Chiron. For those born before 1950 or after 1989.
Chiron will show them where they can transcend their limitations and create something far greater. We all have a purpose, and Chiron will help you discover it.
